A new Phillipsburg High School approved this week for state funding is among the most costly of 53 construction projects outlined by the New Jersey School Development Authority. The top five cost estimates, including money already spent, are:

$163.2 million, Millville, new high school

$157.8 million, Phillipsburg, new high school

$149.7 million, Trenton, Trenton Central High School

$132.6 million, Newark, West Side High School

$98 million, Elizabeth, Academic Magnet High School
